Senior Java Backend Developer (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop Java backend features and modify existing functions based on product requirements and specifications.
2. Develop APIs, perform system integrations, and handle related data processing.
3. Analyze and resolve software vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability scans.
4. Assist with software testing, issue troubleshooting, bug fixing, and functional verification.
5. Work with the existing development team on code reviews, version control, and development progress tracking.
6. Maintain existing code and organize technical documentation according to project requirements.

Required Skills

1. Proficient in Java development, with practical experience in Java / Spring Boot.
2. Familiar with RESTful API development and system integration.
3. Familiar with Git and other version control tools.
4. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
5. Able to read and understand existing code and quickly adapt to existing projects for development.
6. Able to resolve issues identified through vulnerability scans, such as package/dependency vulnerabilities.

Other Requirements

1. Language: Good English proficiency (required); good or basic spoken Chinese (optional).

Work Experience

1. Experience with switching/exchange systems (required).
2. 5+ years of Java backend development experience preferred.
3. Frontend development experience preferred.
4. Experience taking over existing systems, expanding functionality, and performing cross-system integration preferred.
5. Able to independently complete assigned development tasks based on requirements/specifications and collaborate effectively with product, development, and testing teams.
