Lead Civil Engineer

Role purpose

Lead civil and structural engineering efforts for substation modifications, floor cutouts, structural adequacy checks, and earthing transformer foundation design.

Key responsibilities

Perform structural adequacy checks for existing substation slabs under new panel loads.

Design floor cutouts, cable entry openings, and strengthening measures.

Prepare demolition and modification drawings for civil works.

Coordinate rebar scanning and core cutting with safety approvals.

Design earthing transformer yard layouts and foundations.

Qualifications & experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience: 15+ years overall, including 8+ years in oil and gas EPC brownfield projects.

Skilled in conducting structural adequacy checks for existing buildings.

Proficient with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, or Mat 3D, and AutoCAD.

Experience with major energy sector projects preferred.
