Senior Financial Analyst, Retailer

Accountabilities: Lead end-to-end financial modeling for commercial partnerships, including pricing strategies, unit economics, incentive structures, ROI analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

Develop and maintain driver-based forecasting models, monitor portfolio performance against key metrics, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins, and long-term growth.

Partner closely with commercial, legal, revenue operations, accounting, and analytics teams to evaluate partnership opportunities, assess financial impacts, and support contract negotiations with data-driven recommendations.

Design scalable financial templates, dashboards, reporting tools, and best practices that improve forecasting accuracy, streamline decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.

Prepare executive-level presentations, financial reports, and business cases that clearly communicate complex analyses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Continuously improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical frameworks while supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive sustainable business performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, or a similar analytical role supporting commercial growth initiatives.

Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel and/or Google Sheets, including scenario analysis, driver-based forecasting, cohort analysis, and ROI modeling.

Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and experience working with business intelligence platforms such as Looker or Tableau.

Demonstrated experience evaluating commercial partnerships, pricing strategies, contract structures, and financial performance metrics.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable business insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include experience with marketplace or retail partnerships, revenue recognition concepts, Python, dashboard automation, or advanced credentials such as an MBA, CFA, or CPA.
