S4HANA Internal Control CCM and CCT, Analyst

Accountabilities: This role is responsible for designing, testing, and enhancing internal controls within SAP S/4HANA environments while ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency across finance and business processes.

Design and develop test scripts for internal controls with a focus on automated and configuration-based controls within SAP S/4HANA.

Execute control testing activities and coordinate across teams to ensure accurate and timely validation of control effectiveness.

Support control redesign efforts during S/4HANA transformation, ensuring SOX and operational controls remain robust and compliant.

Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk exposure.

Assess and refine Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) frameworks and SAP GRC rules to enhance real-time risk detection.

Develop documentation, training materials, and guidance for internal control teams on updated systems and processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, audit, and IT to ensure strong governance and control implementation.

Contribute to risk assessments, control self-assessments, and deep-dive analysis of key control areas.

Support ongoing improvement of internal audit and compliance processes within SAP environments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong SAP S/4HANA expertise combined with internal controls, risk management, and financial systems experience in complex enterprise environments.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, IT, or related field.

8+ years of experience in internal controls, financial systems, SAP consulting, or internal audit functions.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO, MM, SD, or related modules).

Solid understanding of internal control frameworks, SOX compliance, and risk management principles.

Experience designing or executing control testing, audit procedures, or compliance assessments.

Knowledge of SAP GRC, Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM), and control automation concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven analysis.

Familiarity with scripting or technical tools such as ABAP, SQL, or SAP Fiori is an advantage.

Experience working in SAP transformation or migration projects is highly desirable.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.

SAP certifications or familiarity with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or QTest is a plus.
