Accountabilities: As the Coordinator of Safety and Health, you will lead occupational safety strategies, coordinate technical teams, and ensure the implementation of programs and initiatives that promote a safe and compliant workplace. You will act as a key partner for operational areas, identifying risks, improving processes, and supporting a strong culture of prevention.

Coordinate workplace safety activities, implementing preventive and corrective actions to reduce occupational risks and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and applicable legislation.

Lead SESMT teams across industrial units, ensuring process standardization, alignment with corporate safety guidelines, and effective execution of safety programs.

Partner with different business areas to identify, assess, and control occupational risks, developing solutions to prevent accidents and work-related illnesses.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor safety training programs, awareness campaigns, and initiatives that encourage safe behaviors.

Manage initiatives focused on reducing accidents and occupational risks, overseeing legal safety programs, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.

Monitor safety performance indicators, analyze incidents and deviations, follow action plans, and drive continuous improvement.

Support corporate and operational projects, audits, inspections, digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and the use of data to improve safety management.

Requirements:

We are looking for a safety professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to operate in a multi-site industrial environment. The ideal candidate combines regulatory expertise with communication skills, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience with ISO 45001 standards and occupational health and safety management systems.

Technical training and certifications related to workplace safety, including NR10, NR12, NR13, NR35, and Civil Firefighter training.

Professional registration with CREA and registration as a Safety Technician with the Ministry of Labor.

Completed postgraduate degree.

Experience coordinating safety teams and managing occupational safety programs.

Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring indicators, investigating incidents, and implementing improvement actions.

Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across operational environments.

Valid category B driver’s license and availability for frequent national travel.
