Night Drilling Completion Supervisor

We provide technical expertise and project support through experienced consultants across complex international environments. We are currently looking for a Night Drilling & Completion Supervisor to support offshore drilling operations in Suriname.
The Night Drilling & Completion Supervisor will ensure continuity of drilling supervision during night operations and support the safe and efficient execution of drilling and completion activities on the rig. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise the implementation of drilling programs and associated work instructions
- Ensure operations are carried out in compliance with HSE, safety and environmental requirements
- Maintain operational continuity between night and day shifts
- Supervise service companies involved in fluids, cementing and waste management activities
- Optimize rig equipment and operational processes in coordination with contractors
- Promote best working practices to prevent major incidents, equipment damage and operational disruptions
- Contribute to reducing Non-Productive Time and improving drilling performance
- Prepare and issue the Daily Drilling Report through the designated reporting system
- Maintain cost follow-up and operational tracking
- Anticipate potential operational issues and support the preparation of alternative strategies
- Anticipate equipment requirements and coordinate needs with the drilling supervision team
- Capture lessons learned from night operations and contribute to continuous performance improvement
- Ensure contractor and company HSE standards are fully understood and applied
- Participate actively in safety initiatives and awareness programs
- Technician or Engineering background, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational drilling environment
- Strong knowledge of offshore drilling operations
- Good experience in deepwater environments
- Strong understanding of drilling processes, operational methods and HSE requirements
- Ability to supervise contractors and service companies in an offshore environment
- Strong reporting, planning and operational coordination skills
- Ability to anticipate operational risks and contribute to contingency planning
- Fluent English required
- Location: Offshore Suriname
- Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
- Working schedule during rotation: 7 days per week, 12 hours per day
- Start date: October / November 2026
- Duration: 24 months
