Talencia is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of financial application projects within a dynamic IT environment. This role combines project management (approx. 60%) with process analysis and documentation (approx. 40%), requiring a pragmatic and hands-on professional. Location : Alost Start date : 01/08 Duration : 18+ month

Key responsibilities

Project management:

  • Lead and coordinate application implementation projects
  • Manage scope, risks, budget, and planning
  • Collaborate closely with supplier-side Project Managers
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment
  • Provide clear and concise status reporting

Process & documentation:

  • Support the documentation and improvement of:
  • Business processes
  • IT service processes
  • Security and compliance practices
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects
  • Contribute to increasing documentation maturity post-audit

Environment:

  • Financial systems (ERP or similar)
  • Technologies may include:
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Adfinity
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Must-have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Native Dutch speaker with good English
  • Experience in financial systems or accounting-related projects
  • Strong understanding of IT project delivery

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with SharePoint or collaboration platforms
  • Background in Business Analysis or Functional Analysis
  • Experience in system implementation or migration projects

Soft skills:

  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented

  • Comfortable with light governance structures
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in process improvement and documentatio
