Network Engineer

• Manage and maintain office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Lead the design and deployment of a high-availability backbone network in the data center supporting cloud services.
• Oversee physical and virtual networking components across on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Implement and enforce network security policies in coordination with security and compliance teams.
• Participate in company compliance processes such as ISMS certification and data protection initiatives.
• Manage relationships with vendors for hardware maintenance, network services, and connectivity provisioning.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and second-line support for complex network issues.
• Mentor and guide junior network engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies; recommend improvements to network architecture.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management in enterprise or service provider environments. Strong understanding of core networking concepts and protocols (e.g., routing, switching, BGP, VLANs, VPNs). Experience with physical and virtual networking technologies, including cloud networking concepts. Solid knowledge of network security principles and experience working with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related security technologies. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Relevant certifications (such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are preferred. Hands-on experience with cloud networking platforms and orchestration tools. Familiarity with network automation, scripting, and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts. Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance frameworks. Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and multi-vendor network environments.
