  • Overall responsibility for Materials availability and inventory levels related to assigned production segments. Both on operational and strategically level.
  • Identify opportunities and lead cross functional projects to improve availability, inventory, productivity and transactional efficiency in materials flow related to assigned production segment or overall site.
  • Develop business case to support resource allocation and CAPEX approval needed to drive improvements.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate activities within Materials organisation to provide manufacturing with materials.
  • Act as a pivot between Materials specialist, Suppliers and Global sourcing to solve day to day materials issues.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Sourcing, SQLE, R&D, Suppliers to generate continues improvement ideas and implement those ideas that lead to bottom line results.
  • Represent Materials in NPIs, Open projects and transfers.
  • Establish and develop positive Supplier relationships with key suppliers
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as the apply to this position.

Qualifications/Requirements :

  1. Bachelors Degree and 4 years experience in operations management OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years applicable operations experience
  2. 2+ years experience working in a matrix environment
  3. 2+ years experience working on cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across large and multi-geographic organizations – experience of operating and leading in a global role
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across organization and with senior-level management team.
  • Change agent with energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment
  • English and Swedish as working language both written and oral
