Legal Trainee Nordics (Internship)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Law student who has successfully completed at least 3 semesters.
- Prior legal experience desired but not essential.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English.
- Any other Nordic language is a merit.

Role Summary: General legal advice and support with focus on corporate governance (10-20 hours/week). As a Legal Trainee you will work closely with the responsible corporate governance legal counsel for the Nordics. You will be a legal business partner to GE’s different business areas such as power, renewable, energy financial services, oil & gas, corporate and grid. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven law student to gain valuable experience in one of the world largest companies, General Electric.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support all corporate governance related matters in the Nordic region (120+) companies with tasks such as board changes, governing document changes, conducting and minuting board and shareholders’ meetings, granting and assuming loans and contributions.
- Be the main interface to the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
- Participate in global M&A activities.
- Be responsible for internal and external reporting.
- Build and administrate the legal archive.
