SGD 3,500–4,500 basic monthly salary Full time | Fully on site | Both Saturday and Sunday required Mainly East, with rostered work across Central and West Teach robotics. Develop the lessons. Prepare students to compete. First Konnection is recruiting a Robotics Instructor for an established education enrichment provider in Singapore. You’ll teach mainly primary-aged children, develop practical robotics lessons and coach students for robotics competitions. The role combines hands-on technical work with classroom teaching, curriculum development and collaboration with fellow instructors. Regular programmes typically operate at around 1 instructor to 6 students. Competition training involves small groups of up to 8 students, generally aged 7–13. Your responsibilities Deliver practical robotics programmes, incorporating supporting coding and AI content.

Guide children through building, programming, testing and improving their robots.

Prepare and coach students for robotics competitions, helping them understand challenges and improve their solutions.

Develop, update and document robotics curriculum, lesson plans and teaching materials, from lesson design through classroom delivery.

Explain technical concepts clearly and manage classroom activities to keep young learners engaged.

Engage parents on site about their child’s learning and progress, mainly at the end of lessons.

Collaborate with fellow instructors on teaching materials, lesson delivery and competition preparation.

Deliver school-holiday camp programmes and work across centres according to the roster.

What you’ll bring Credible hands-on robotics experience, with the ability to explain the platforms and systems you have used.

Experience coaching children for robotics competitions, with a track record you can substantiate through your role, contribution and students’ results.

Experience teaching robotics to children and explaining technical concepts in ways they understand.

Experience personally developing curriculum, lesson plans or teaching materials.

Excellent written and spoken English for teaching, lesson documentation and parent communication.

The ability to work closely with other instructors and learn new robotics systems and technologies.

Familiarity with LEGO Robotics or Python would be an advantage.

A relevant diploma and a computer science or engineering background are preferred.

Robotics experience, competition coaching, teaching children and curriculum or lesson development are essential. Fresh graduates who can demonstrate these requirements are welcome to apply. Working schedule 3 weekdays: 12:00 pm–8:30 pm.

Saturday and Sunday: 8:30 am–5:30 pm.

Both Saturday and Sunday are compulsory working days.

School-holiday camps involve additional working hours and may require an occasional 6-day week.

Work locations Primarily based in eastern Singapore, with regular rostered work at centres in the Central and West regions. For suitable candidates, preferences for work locations in the Central or West regions may be considered, subject to operational needs. This is a fully on site role, with advance notice of the roster. Leave and benefits 14 days of paid annual leave per year, accruing from the start of employment and available to take after completing probation.

2 weeks of centre breaks annually, in addition to annual leave.

Public holidays off.

Company insurance provided.

Claim back $5 for meals each working day, paid daily in cash.

Discretionary bonus after completing 1 year of service.
