Air Import/ Export Coordinator

We are working with an established forwarder who are looking to recruit an Airfreight Coordinator with both Air Exports/ Imports.

The Airfreight Coordinator is responsible for arranging, monitoring, and processing Import/ Export consignments on behalf of both internal and external customers in the most cost-effective manner while achieving required service levels and compliance standards. Includes ensuring temperature – sensitive and time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments.

Role Involves: Manage and priorities daily shipment activities to ensure customer requirements and operational deadlines. Ensure all shipment documentation and operational data are completed. Start to finish Import & Exports. Good customs/ CDS experience. Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, suppliers regarding shipment movements. Assist with operational audits and provide documentation as required. Support other departments such as Healthcare, Perishables, Gateway and General Exports as and when required. Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, carriers, overseas partners and internal stakeholders.

Experience. Good Air Import / Export start to finish experience. Good Customs / CDS experience. Any Pharma or Perishable experience advantage.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm Salary depends on experience.
