Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily operations of the mall and ensure the mall environment is clean, safe, functional and properly maintained. Supervise maintenance of the building, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems and other facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, damages, and maintenance needs. Coordinate technicians, contractors, cleaners, security and other service providers. Monitor and manage facility-related expenses and maintenance activities. Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergencies. Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, incidents and prepare regular facility and maintenance reports for management. Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and other relevant facility regulations. Liaise with management, tenants, vendors and relevant authorities when necessary.

Requirements:

HND in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in facility management, mall management, building operations or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of building maintenance, facilities, safety, and general operations.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate contractors, vendors, technicians, and service providers.

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational issues.

Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate independently.
