Lead Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Production of the design of all mechanical systems and determining the associated construction budget cost during the programming and conceptual design phases, for large / complex projects

Determining and defining sustainability targets

Review of the design of mechanical systems, produced by other team members, for technical compliance with specified and contracted client / customer requirements

Review of all mechanical tender documentation

Implementing the design checklist and tracking progress

Arranging internal design reviews with the support of the HOD

Representing the Mechanical Team in monthly Client Meetings

Compiling lessons learned and briefing HOD on same;

Formulating any necessary recovery plans relating to Design, Cost & Schedule

Mentoring of the Senior Engineers or Engineer with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 10 years of design experience in life sciences projects.
