Reliability Engineer III
Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of comprehensive reliability engineering methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), and risk management strategies to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance. Analyze complex equipment data sets and benchmark operational performance against global industry standards to drive continuous improvement and systemic loss elimination. Develop and execute long-term lifecycle asset management plans and sophisticated maintenance strategies that align with production targets and safety regulations. Provide expert technical leadership and guidance on major projects, acting as the primary point of contact for resolving complex engineering challenges. Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are integrated seamlessly into daily operations. Mentor junior engineering staff and drive internal innovation by identifying opportunities to implement advanced predictive maintenance technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in reliability engineering within oil and gas production, refinery, or processing facilities. Demonstrated success in lifecycle asset management and the development of large-scale maintenance strategies. Proven track record of technical project leadership and the ability to independently resolve critical operational or mechanical issues. Advanced proficiency in interpreting technical data to drive decision-making and operational efficiency. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex reliability concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
