Application Support Analyst

Key Technologies: MariaDB SQL, Digital Asset Custody, Kibana, Blockchain, Linux/Unix

Responsibilities

• Oversee application and production support for enterprise systems, ensuring service continuity, system stability and operational efficiency.
• Manage the end-to-end incident management process, including issue assessment, prioritisation, escalation, troubleshooting and resolution within agreed service levels.
• Investigate application and infrastructure failures through technical troubleshooting to minimise service disruptions and maintain system availability.
• Perform system monitoring and log analysis using Grafana and Kibana/OpenSearch to identify anomalies, performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive and corrective measures to enhance application reliability and operational performance.
• Administer Linux/Unix environments and troubleshoot database-related issues involving SQL, MySQL and MariaDB.
• Provide application support for blockchain-based solutions and digital asset custody platforms, working closely with technical teams to resolve system-related issues.
• Handle technical and client support activities, ensuring effective communication, timely issue resolution and consistent service delivery within a 24/7 production environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support or IT Operations.
• Strong experience in incident management, application troubleshooting and technical support within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and log analysis tools, particularly Grafana and Kibana/OpenSearch.
• Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), problem investigation and production issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and relational databases, particularly MySQL and MariaDB, with proficiency in SQL.
• Experience supporting blockchain-based applications and digital asset custody platforms, preferably within financial services, fintech or trading environments.
• Strong client-facing and technical support capabilities, including stakeholder coordination and application issue management.
• Experience managing production support operations, service escalations and application availability in a 24/7 environment.
