AI-Assisted Workflow Automation Engineer

Your tasks

English-language position Work tasks: We are looking for a curious, technically strong AI-Assisted Workflow Automation Engineer to help teams across the organisation simplify work, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency. You will identify opportunities for automation and choose the right approach for each problem- whether that means AI, Python, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel or sytem integrations. We focus on practical results, not technology for its own sake. We use AI to accelerate prototyping and solve tasks involving unstructured information of human interpretation. Where an AI-assisted prototype proves its value, we expect it to be further developed into a secure, maintainable, and production-ready solution.

Your Role and Impact: • Analyse business processes to find repetitive, manual or error-prone work, and prioritise automation by impact, scalability, effort and reliability; • Design and build end-to-end workflows with Python, Power Automate, SharePoint, APIs, webhooks, databases, enterprise connectors and MCP servers, integrated with Microsoft 365 and our CRM; • Apply AI where it adds value (document processing, classification, extraction, analysis, recommendations, decision support), using agentic patterns and tool calling where practical, with human review before business-critical outputs and actions; • Take solutions from concept through testing, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement, keeping them secure, maintainable and observable, with proper validation, access control, logging and error handling; • Work with users and managers to make sure solutions solve the real problem and get adopted; • Ensure compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, information security requirements and internal policies, and document solutions clearly.

Other requirements: What You Bring to the Role:

• Proven hands-on experience in workflow automation, systems integration, software development or AI solutions – what you’ve built and delivered matters more than what your field of study or title
• Strong Python skills, particularly for automation and data processing, with experience in APIs, webhooks, databases and enterprise connectors
• Experience with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 is a strong plus
• Practical understanding of LLMs and their safe application, with the judgement to choose straightforward automation over AI when it is the better solution
• Experience taking solutions from prototype to production, with change-management skills to guide process discovery, implementation and adoption
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills – able to angage both technical and non-technical stakeholders – with excellent English for close cooperation across the Baltics
