Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment using inventory control systems, including stock cards. Issue and receive materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation. Monitor stock levels and reorder materials when necessary to avoid shortages. Unload and organize incoming deliveries, ensuring correct quantities and conditions of goods. Perform regular inventory audits and checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of stock levels. Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently in designated storage areas. Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth operations and effective inventory control. Prepare reports on stock levels, usage, and reorder management needs. Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures within the store.

Requirements:

Proven experience in inventory control and management, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in using stock cards or other inventory tracking tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is an advantage. Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
