Who we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced and proven Senior Product Manager for AV Control & Automation products to support our Installed Systems Development Team and oversee the full life cycle of the “Whole Product”. You will create an entirely new product area within Audinate’s AV platform, which will be connected to an existing Cloud platform.

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a vision for creating new products in the installed AV space, not just replicating what has already been produced by others. 

We will look for you to showcase your intuitive interpersonal skills, collaborative abilities, research & people networking skills, and proven leadership to conceptualize products, features and most importantly market them to our customers

Responsibilities Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, VOC competitive research, and internal collaboration with the development team

Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents and Market Requirement Documents

Develop business cases and own the accountability for the financial plan for your products and portfolio

Author detailed product requirements for Audinate's engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners

Share your vision through product demonstrations to stakeholders

Support sales and marketing in defining rollout strategies and marketing campaigns

Monitor product financial and quality metrics - utilizing data to improve product performance and capabilities

Keep abreast of competitive landscape and technology trends.

Tradeshow management and leadership selling of your product lines

Requirements Expert working knowledge of ‘AV programming’ in the Audio-Visual Control & Automation segment of the AV industry

10+ years Product Management experience with a strong emphasis on whole product methodologies including Product Marketing aspects

Experience in agile dev, high-throughput product development cycles

Experience in managing OEM/ODM relationships is a plus

Demonstratable AV programming skills, certifications and knowledge in one or more of the following: Q-SYS lua scripting, UCI authoring and plugins, Q-SYS Reflect, Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+ and VT Pro-e, Crestron XiO Cloud, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter and Python

Additional desirable skills and experience AIPMM certification

Experience with AV-over-IP video products, technologies and systems

Prior technical AV sales experience e.g. with an integrator, manufacturer, rep firm

Degree in Engineering or Business discipline
