Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong experience in RHEL server administration, VMware virtualization and test automation to support testing and validation of cloud computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test conditions, test cases, scripts and test data for RHEL and VMware environments.
• Support and maintain virtual testing labs and test environments.
• Analyse technical requirements and develop appropriate test automation solutions.
• Perform defect management, investigate issues and track resolution through JIRA.
• Evaluate test results against exit criteria and prepare test summary reports.
• Support service validation and testing activities within an Agile environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement based on testing outcomes and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong experience with RHEL / Linux server administration .
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualisation technologies and cloud environments.
• Good working knowledge of Python, Bash, Ansible, JSON and YAML .
• Experience with test automation, service validation and quality engineering .
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and SDM workflows .
• Experience with JIRA and test management / automation tools such as Octane.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working independently as well as within a fast-paced team environment.
