Social Media Manager (Full-Time, Remote)

Aqua Maya is a relatively new charity with a bold mission to provide clean water access to 20 million people in West Africa.

Join us in improving access to clean water in underserved West African communities. We're seeking a full-time Social Media Manager to amplify our mission through engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and post 2 customized posts/reels daily (Monday-Friday) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, adapting content to each platform's style and format.

• In rare cases, in-person activities such as attending certain Aqua Maya events or capturing images at certain locations might be required, if it is in your city.

• Engage with followers through excellent communication to build community and drive awareness.

Requirements

• Proven social media management experience

• Excellent written and visual communication for audience interaction

• Basic video editing skills, for reels and similar clips

• Creativity and graphic design skills, with proficiency in Canva or a similar tool

• A personal interest in water access causes and making an impact in society is a big plus

Good to have, but not required

• An educational or professional background related to water

• A university degree

What We Offer

• Salary: NGN100,000 per month (we're a charity) + up to a N50,000 performance bonus contingent on meeting 100% of content creation/posting goals.

• Start date: Must be available to start no later than October 25th.
