Cyber Security Project Manager

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact security initiatives in Dubai. You will manage the full project lifecycle for technical security implementations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while upholding the highest security standards.

Responsibilities:

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for cyber security initiatives

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations

Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution

Manage stakeholder communications, expectations, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies

Track project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies, and prepare regular status reports for senior management

Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and internal security policies

Drive project closure activities, including lessons learned, documentation handover, and post-implementation reviews

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

7–10 years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 5 years focused on cyber security engagements

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Strong technical understanding of cyber security concepts including network security, vulnerability management, and incident response

Proven stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership

Experience performing risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent

Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred qualifications:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Experience working in the UAE or broader Middle East region

Familiarity with ISO 27001, NESA, GDPR, or other relevant regulatory frameworks

Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure)

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or related discipline
