As a Package Engineer in Espoo you will oversee the technical and project lifecycle of specialized equipment packages and act as the link between the client and suppliers.

Key tasks include defining technical requirements, scheduling and budgeting, managing supplier selection and documentation, conducting inspections, and supporting logistics and deliveries.

Required qualifications are a relevant technical Bachelor's or Master's degree, good technical competence, basic project life cycle understanding, fluent English, and ability to travel occasionally.

About the role

As a Package Engineer, you will oversee the technical and project lifecycle of specialized equipment packages. You will serve as the vital link between our client company and their suppliers, ensuring that all technical requirements are met within a dynamic, project-driven team.

Work tasks

Define technical requirements for the assigned equipment packages

Schedule and budget of assigned equipment packages

Update delivery structure in PDM after defined freezing points

Participate in supplier selection process, e.g. technical evaluation, negotiations

Manage document flow to/from supplier

Review supplier documentation and plans

Manage inspections

Ensure delivered equipment meets the quality requirements

Receive goods

Supports logistics to get equipment delivered to site

Manage and participate in Inspections on site

We are looking for

Relevant (technical) Bachelor's or Master's degree

Good technical compentence to understand and learn about components used in our client's projects

Basic understanding of project life cycle management

Fluent skills in English

Ability to travel occasionally

It is considered as an advantage if you have previously worked as Package Engineer, Project Manager or similar.
