Kitchen Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities  Assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.  Wash, cut, portion and prepare ingredients.  Assist with simple cooking and food handling duties where required.  Pack, label and store ingredients and prepared food.  Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.  Assist with receiving and arranging stock.  Follow food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.  Perform other reasonable kitchen support duties assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: No prior experience required; willing to learn and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; able to work shifts where required and follow food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
