VENDING MACHINE TECHNICIAN
· Repair, maintain, and install vending machines and beverage dispensers.
· Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs.
· Attend to all service calls during normal working hours, as well as when on standby duties assigned on a roster basis.
· Inspect and troubleshoot machines to locate causes of malfunctions, dismantle machines to gain access to problem area, and complete repairs.
· Inspect parts to detect wear and tear, misalignment, or other problems, removes and replaces worn or defective parts, repairs broken parts, realigns and adjusts components, tests machine operation following repair.
· Connect water pipes and electrical wires; ensure that installations are compliant with plumbing, electrical and sanitation codes and standards
· Conduct routine maintenance; clean and oil machine parts and adjust machine pressure gauges and thermostats
· Submit service sheets for closing of service calls and refurbishment work
· Review and maintain inventory and orders parts, ships and receive machines and maintain equipment inventory.
· Prepare machines for installation at accounts, assist in installations and removals.
· Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders welding torches) for machine repair.
· Transport machines to the repair shop for maintenance and inspection as needed
· Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the vending machines on site.
· Maintain clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
· Any other job-related duties assigned by Supervisory staff
Professional experience
· Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in vending machine servicing, repair, and maintenance.
· Proven track record in troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues.
· Experience in handling both cash and cashless payment systems.
· Knowledge of inventory management and stock rotation practices.
