Senior Interior Design Architect

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of interior architecture and design concepts from concept to completion. Develop detailed design proposals, layouts, mood boards, material selections, and presentations. Prepare and review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Develop space planning solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and client requirements. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, architects, and other project stakeholders. Conduct site visits, inspections, and design reviews to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs. Oversee multiple projects and ensure designs are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards. Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, lighting, and other interior elements. Review samples, shop drawings, and material submissions. Work closely with clients to understand their vision, provide design recommendations, and manage expectations. Identify and resolve design and technical challenges throughout project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' relevant professional experience in interior architecture/design. Strong portfolio demonstrating completed high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or luxury interior projects. Excellent knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior detailing. Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar tools. Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction documentation, and project execution. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. Strong project management and coordination abilities. High level of creativity, attention to detail, and design sensitivity. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with minimal supervision. Professional registration or relevant industry certification is an added advantage.
