Registered Nurse
Department: Nursing
Reports To: Nurse In-Charge / Medical Superintendent
The nurse is responsible for providing quality patient-centered care, monitoring patient progress, administering medication, and supporting doctors in treatment procedures while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations.
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license from the relevant regulatory board.
- BLS/ACLS certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting.
