Financial Analyst
Woodbridge Financial Analysts are responsible for the following:
Analyzing client financial statements and data such as sales and supplier transactions to identify any issues that must be addressed when presenting the company to buyers
Adjusting financial statements according to standard M&A market practices
Preparing financial forecasts based on client order backlog and sales pipeline, and any reasonable assumptions discussed with the client
Preparing financial write-ups that explain company performance as well as the assumptions supporting forecasts
Tracking clients’ performance while they are in market or under LOI
Interacting with time-sensitive business owners/entrepreneurs and C-level executives to obtain, discuss and clarify information
Proactively managing client expectations
Collaborating with colleagues from other departments working on the same deal and keeping them informed of material developments
Regularly reporting to management on the status of each deal they are working on and any potential issues or roadblocks that arise

Candidates with the following are preferred:
Thorough understanding of US GAAP
Background in financial analysis, M&A, business administration, accounting, or auditing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
