grain farm manager

We are a grain farm located near Norquay, SK. This opportunity is for a PERMANENT FULL-TIME Grain Farm Manager with 3 - 5 years related experience. A Class 1A license is preferred, but not required. Duties in this role will vary depending on the season but will include: - Season planning of crops, rotation, fertilizer and chemical applications.- Schedule daily field operations.- Train employees how to safely and efficiently operate equipment.- Inspect equipment prior to operation.- Coordinate with Shop Manager on equipment that needs service or repairs.- Operate equipment as required during the busy season.- Oversee the storage of grain.- Organize the shipping of grain by truck/railcar to fulfill contracts.- Dry grain.- Clean grain.- Manage staff and assign duties.
