Senior Architectural Technical Office Engineer

Review architectural working drawings, shop drawings and construction details.

Review the technical accuracy of architectural drawings produced by the BIM team.

Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP and BIM teams.

Review material submittals, samples, method statements and RFIs.

Conduct site visits to review and approve materials, shop drawings and executed works.

Ensure site execution complies with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Resolve technical and coordination issues with consultants, contractors and site teams.

Prepare and review tender drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Review quantity take-offs and verify their accuracy.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and detailed pricing.

Analyze suppliers’ and subcontractors’ quotations and prepare comparison sheets.

Review variations, contractors’ proposals and as-built drawings.

Attend technical, client and top-management meetings.

Prepare technical recommendations and follow up on meeting decisions.

Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural technical office and site coordination.

Strong experience in architectural shop drawings, construction details and finishing works.

Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, specifications and quality requirements.

Ability to coordinate with BIM, structural and MEP teams and review the technical content of their deliverables.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit for drawing review and coordination.

Strong experience in tendering, quantity surveying, BOQs, cost estimation and pricing.

Background of site execution and material approval procedures.

Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and presentation skills.

Ability to represent the technical team in client and top-management meetings.

Good command of English is preferred.

Ability to work full-time from the Cairo Branch in New Cairo.
