EXPERIENCE is a must for this position. Looking for line cook with 2 - 3 years of cooking experience in a similar type of restaurant (casual-fine dining) (downtown restaurants). *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Cook. This position is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations. *Education*

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

*Experience*

IS A MUST.....2 - 3 Years experience required of casual dining

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

*Duties*

  • Co-ordinate special events
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
  • Hire and train staff
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
