Your main focus will be to: Keep the portfolio of new initiatives updated and prioritized to ensure that correct initiatives will be started in due time Propose portfolio priorities to Range management team and identify bottle necks to resolve Plan and balance the portfolio towards the availability of different functions, PD, Production, AM as well as the site dimension Stakeholder management and communication skills Take lead in improving the way of working to improve efficiency but also contribute to predictable launch by good start up

Required knowledge/experience You will in this role drive and lead Portfolio planning and propose the start up prioritization and report to the Manager for Vehicle Architecture. To be successful in your new role we want you have the following knowledge/experience: Experiences from project and process development Good planning skills to be able arrive at a balanced portfolio and stable start up of projects Takes initiatives, demonstrates confidence in his/her abilities with a strong drive for results Good net-worker with a holistic view and good communication and negotiating skills Tired of having a lot of good ideas but not the power to change? This is us, your new colleagues Projects and Range Architecture (PRA) is a function in the Global Product Development organisation responsible to bring a significant contribution to the performance of Volvo Bus Corporation by being responsible for the project portfolio, the product cradle-to-grave, the range architecture as well as process & IT and certification of our products and vehicles. Our team consists of 120 employees and our main sites are located in Sweden, Poland, China, India, Mexico and Brazil.

We are now looking for an Order Office manager, who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo Buses profitability and who sees that the key to success in this role is cross functional co-operation and well balanced prioritization of project initiatives to meet future business challenges.

Job Description You will have the opportunity to work in a highly international and multi-functional network environment consisting of our Business Regions, Product planning, Product Development, After Market and Production. You will lead the planning of our portfolio to ensure that we start the prioritized project initiatives in due time to secure predictable launch. You will gather our different initiatives and prioritize start up together with our Range Management Team. Creating the start up priority and ensuring good planning requires stakeholder management skills and cross functional co-operation. However, as this is a new position it is also important that you can take the lead in improving the way of working and that you can drive change. You will develop more efficient way of working than we have today.
