Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support QS operations, ensuring accurate cost management and project profitability.
Responsibilities
- Attend client briefings to understand project tender scope and requirements
- Using Link and software to tender project
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ) for project tenders to support accurate bidding
- Develop precise cost estimates for commercial and retail projects to guide budgeting
- Administer costing data accurately in Netsuite to maintain financial integrity
- Meet tender submission deadlines to ensure timely project bidding
- Coordinate with Projects Team and Designers to resolve costing issues and align project budgets
- Verify subcontractor claims to ensure accuracy and prevent cost overruns
- Maintain accurate records of Project Variation Orders (VOs) to track project changes and costs
- Provide aftersales service quotations to clients to support ongoing project needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail to ensure precise cost control
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 year of experience in retail renovation or interior fit-out are encouraged to apply
