Employment Solicitor
Employment Lawyer – Ely Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We're working with a growing law firm in Ely looking to strengthen its Employment team with the appointment of an experienced Employment Solicitor / Employment Lawyer.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and supportive firm where you'll have responsibility for your own caseload while playing an important role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You'll advise clients across a broad range of employment law matters, which may include:
- Employment contracts and policies
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Redundancy and restructuring
- Settlement agreements
- Discrimination and whistleblowing
- Unfair and wrongful dismissal
- Employment Tribunal matters
- TUPE
- General HR and employment advisory work
Depending on your experience, you'll work with both employers and individuals, managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
About You
We're interested in speaking with Employment Solicitors and experienced Employment Lawyers who are confident managing their own caseload.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong employment law experience
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Confidence advising clients directly
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach
- The ability to manage your own workload effectively
Experience advising businesses and building long-term client relationships would be particularly attractive.
