Tailor

Key Responsibilities: Take accurate customer measurements and understand garment requirements. Cut, stitch, alter, and repair various types of garments. Operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment safely. Perform hemming, resizing, adjustments, zip replacement, and other alterations. Read and follow garment patterns, designs, and specifications. Ensure proper fitting, finishing, and quality of completed garments. Inspect finished garments for stitching and measurement accuracy. Maintain sewing machines, tools, and the tailoring work area. Complete orders within the required deadlines. Communicate with customers regarding measurements, alterations, and design requirements. Requirements: Minimum 7-10 years as a tailor or garment alteration worker preferred. Good knowledge of sewing, cutting, stitching, and garment alterations. Able to work in public holidays and weekends if needed. 5.5 workdays a week. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience with different fabrics and garment types is an advantage.
