Who We Are VentriJect is a Danish health tech startup, spun out of Aalborg University. We've developed Seismofit®, an award-winning algorithm that uses AI to estimate fitness levels (VO₂max) in just three minutes, no exercise required.  We're a small, fast-moving team of 12+ people with customers across the EU and USA. In our Odder office, there are currently 2 of us, and we're looking to make that 3.

What You'll Be Doing This is a full-stack developer role, and because we're small, you'll touch every layer of our software setup: Frontend Development: Build and improve our app, written in Flutter, and our Web Portal in React.

Backend Development: Work on our C# backend.

Tooling: Write helper/automation scripts and tools where they're the right fit. Set up monitors and dashboards to track performance and usage of our systems.

Infrastructure & CI/CD: Work with our Azure setup (Blob Storage, Virtual Machines) and help maintain our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Regulatory-Grade Development: Because Seismofit® is operating in a regulated market, our software follows IEC 62304. You'll build with the rigor that requires documentation, traceability, and verification.

Let's be transparent: this isn't a role where you're handed a spec and left alone. Our hierarchy is flat, and you'll have real input into technical decisions and the direction of the software from day one. You will get a lot of responsibility and shape the future for VentriJects APIs. Being a part of a smaller startup company means you will influence the company and help us grow.

What We're Looking For The Experience Profile: 0–3 years of professional experience. We're not looking for a seasoned veteran; we're looking for someone hungry to grow and take ownership early.

Full Stack Comfort: You're genuinely interested in working across Flutter, C#, and Python, not just one corner of the stack.

AI-friendly: You know your way around AI (Claude) and use it as part of your daily programming.

Cloud & DevOps Familiarity: You have some experience with Azure and CI/CD; Azure DevOps specifically is a plus.

Technical Foundations: You're comfortable with Git and SQL, and you understand the logic behind your code rather than just copying snippets.

Regulatory Curiosity: You're comfortable working with, or willing to learn, medical device software regulations (IEC 62304). Prior exposure is a bonus, not a requirement.

Startup Mindset: You want to work somewhere small, where your voice matters and your work has a visible impact.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills, as the company operates primarily in English.
