Your tasks

Ready to move beyond accounts prep and build real audit experience? This Southport practice is looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join its team, working across a varied client base and broadening your technical skills. It suits someone with a few years in practice who wants more variety and a clear next step.

Accounts

• Prepare year-end accounts and supporting workings for a range of clients.
• Handle bookkeeping queries and keep client files in good order.

Audit

• Support audit assignments, from planning through to completion, as experience allows.

Client and team

• Deal with client queries professionally and meet deadlines.

Requirements

Accounts and Audit Semi Senior – This Role Is Ideal For

This role is ideal for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior who:

• Has a few years of practice experience preparing accounts and wants to add audit to their skillset.
• Feels ready for more responsibility but is not getting the exposure where they are.
• Would rather work locally in Southport than commute into a bigger city.

• AAT qualified ideally, or part-qualified and working towards it.
• A few years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience preparing accounts.
• Audit experience desirable, but not essential.
• Organised, accurate and keen to learn.
