About Us

We are a Singapore-based ship management company managing a diverse fleet of approximately 20 vessels, including FSUs, Oil Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Bulk Carriers and Container Vessels .

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Marine Executive to join our Marine Department and provide effective support to our Marine Superintendents in the day-to-day management of our fleet.

This is a long-term career opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop further in ship management and marine operations and become a key support to the Marine Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide marine and documentation support to the Marine Department and Marine Superintendents.
  • Maintain and monitor vessel certificates, statutory documents and marine records.
  • Follow up with vessels, Masters and relevant parties on outstanding documents and submissions.
  • Assist in coordinating with Class, Flag State, agents and other external parties on vessel-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain marine reports, checklists, forms, correspondence and other operational documentation.
  • Assist in documentation and preparation for internal and external audits, inspections, surveys and vetting activities.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating records relating to ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, Class and Flag State requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring the validity and renewal of vessel certificates and statutory documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing and document control for vessel records and correspondence.
  • Assist Marine Superintendents in preparing reports, meeting materials and other marine-related documents.
  • Follow up on action items and outstanding matters with vessels and relevant parties.
  • Maintain and update vessel information in the company's systems.
  • Provide effective day-to-day support to the Marine Superintendents and assist them in coordinating and following up on vessel-related matters.
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Marine Department.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering, Shipping or a related discipline .
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in ship management, marine operations or the maritime industry.
  • Previous experience working in a ship management company will be highly preferred.
  • Practical experience in vessel documentation and coordination with vessels, Class, Flag State or other maritime stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and relevant maritime requirements.
  • Experience in preparing for or supporting audits, inspections, surveys and/or vetting will be an advantage.
  • Experience in tanker operations, FSU operations or handling of OCIMF/SIRE-related matters will be an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisational and document management skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible and able to follow up on matters independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with colleagues, vessels and external parties from different nationalities.
