About Us

UniOne AI Education is a humanoid robotics education provider, offering robot hardware, curricula, a digital twin platform and teacher support to K-12 schools, vocational institutions and universities. We are building a humanoid robotics and AI curriculum for primary and secondary schools, and we need someone who can both design courses and teach them, as a core member of our Curriculum & Training team, to bring embodied AI into more classrooms.

Role Overview

You will own the full process for our humanoid robotics and AI courses, from design and development to on-robot validation and delivery. Part of your time will go to curriculum development and part to teaching at client sites, and you will use classroom feedback to keep improving the courses. This role reports to the Head of Curriculum & Training. As a member of a growing team, the scope of your work will expand as the business develops.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Design and Development

  • Design and develop K-12 humanoid robotics and AI courses, including syllabi, unit plans, lesson plans, slides, student worksheets, teacher guides and assessment tools
  • Build a levelled curriculum, ensuring continuity and progression across levels and semesters, and design a capstone project for each semester (project-based learning)
  • Use Bloom's Taxonomy to design tiered learning objectives and questions
  • Write content using our standard lesson template, keeping the whole curriculum consistent in structure and quality
  • Integrate AI literacy (the fundamentals, applications, limitations, ethics and safety of AI) into courses at every level, aligned with the relevant curriculum frameworks of Singapore schools
  • Differentiate course design for different age groups, mixed-age classes and formats (regular classes, co-curricular activities, holiday workshops and study-tour programmes)
  • Design supporting course materials, such as completion certificates, activity passports and showcase posters

Coding and Robotics Content

  • Design classroom tasks, sample programs and project challenges in block coding and Python, forming a progression from beginner to advanced
  • Operate and debug humanoid robots, and validate all course content on the real robot and on the digital twin platform
  • Establish and enforce robot safety procedures in the classroom
  • Work with the Robot Operation team to turn new hardware features and AI capabilities into teachable content

Teaching and Training

  • Teach in schools, student care centres, workshops and study-tour programmes, managing the classroom and ensuring learning outcomes and student safety
  • Prepare equipment and materials before and after classes, including robot checks, venue setup and inventory of teaching aids
  • Provide training and implementation support to teachers at partner schools
  • Help guide part-time staff and interns in their courseware development and teaching assistant work

Assessment and Iteration

  • Design formative and summative assessments, and collect student work, classroom observations and teacher feedback
  • Continuously improve the courses based on data and feedback, and maintain version control and quality standards for the curriculum library

External Support

  • Work with the business team on course demonstrations, trial lessons and proposal writing, and explain our curriculum design approach to schools and partners

Other Duties

  • Take on other related work assigned by your supervisor as the business and team require, such as supporting exhibitions and enrolment events, producing marketing content and assisting with project delivery

Requirements

  • Diploma and above in education, engineering, computer science, robotics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in STEM, coding or robotics curriculum development or teaching.
  • Proficient in block coding (Scratch, Blockly, etc.) and Python, and able to independently write and debug programs for teaching
  • Understanding of robotics fundamentals: sensors, actuators, motion control, and the basics of perception and decision-making
  • Understanding of the core content of AI literacy, and able to explain concepts such as machine learning, computer vision, voice interaction and large language models to primary and secondary school students
  • Experience teaching children or teenagers, with clear and engaging delivery and good classroom management
  • Strong slide-making skills, with clear and attractive layouts (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)
  • Proficient with a range of AI software (large language models, AI image and video generation tools, etc.), able to use it for curriculum development and content production, and able to judge and check the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • Available to teach on weekends and during school holidays

Nice to Have

  • Teaching experience in Singapore schools or within the MOE system
  • Experience with humanoid robots, ROS, simulation or digital twin platforms
  • Experience designing project-based learning (PBL) courses
  • Experience coaching or leading teams in robotics or AI competitions
  • Experience in teacher training or adult training
  • Experience producing video courses, interactive content or online learning platforms

Qualities We Value

  • Student-centred: you care whether children have really learned, not just whether the class was lively
  • Hands-on: when a robot misbehaves, you are willing to troubleshoot it yourself
  • Self-driven and organised: you can independently take a course from zero to delivery in a start-up team
  • Open to feedback and willing to refine a course again and again

What You Will Gain

  • The chance to help build a humanoid robotics curriculum from the ground up, with your work going straight into school classrooms
  • Long-term exposure to the latest humanoid robots and embodied AI technology
  • A clear growth path in a fast-growing edtech company
