Classroom Support Staff

Responsibilities:

Engage children in class activities, guided play, and learning routines. Support the lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate activities. Assist children with fine motor tasks, sensory play, early numeracy/literacy readiness, and hands-on learning. Provide emotional support, comfort, and reassurance to children. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times. Supervise children during feeding/snack time, ensuring proper hygiene and encouraging independence. Support with nappy changing, toileting, and helping children maintain good hygiene. Assist children with changing clothes when necessary (accidents, spills, outdoor play, etc.). Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organized classroom environment. Set up learning materials and resources for daily activities. Assist in sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces following school hygiene standards. Ensure toys and materials are safely stored after use. Ensure children are safe during transitions between the classroom, outdoor areas, dining spaces, and restrooms. Report any injuries, accidents, or concerns immediately to the lead teacher or School Director. Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies of Twinkly Tots School.

Requirements: Experience working with young children (0–5 years) is an advantage. Warm, patient, and child-friendly personality. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically able to bend, lift children, and support active play.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 - 80,000
