Sales and Marketing Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in sales and marketing or its equivalent, as well as at least 3years of experience in a similar role. The main responsibilities of this position will be to identify new clients and develop marketing strategies, with a focus on shipping from China to Kenya.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our shipping services from China to Kenya

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and expand the customer base through targeted outreach and networking
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to clients

• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, and make recommendations to management on how to stay competitive in the market

• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote our services and generate leads
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients

• Manage and update customer databases and sales reports

Qualifications:

• Diploma in sales and marketing or its equivalent
• At least 3years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
