Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure that all cleaning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations and cleaning staff to meet quality standards
• Assign duties, work schedules, and cleaning areas to team members for efficient coverage
• Monitor cleaning standards through regular inspections and enforce compliance with procedures
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Train and guide cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, workplace safety, and chemical handling
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance to maintain discipline
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and company policies to protect staff and clients
• Handle client feedback and resolve cleaning-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate cleaning records, checklists, inventory logs, and other required documentation
• Report operational issues, equipment defects, and manpower needs to management for timely action
• Assist with manpower planning and deployment to optimize team productivity
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties during peak periods or as needed to support the team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning operations or supervisory roles preferred
• Experience managing a team of cleaners is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate staff effectively
• Ability to work independently and solve operational issues promptly
• Physical fitness and comfort working in an active cleaning environment
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and workplace safety procedures
• Relevant WSQ or cleaning-related certification is an advantage
