Team Lead Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain corporate and individual insurance client relationships. Develop and place insurance business with appropriate underwriters. Review policies and ensure adequate coverage for clients. Coordinate claims processing and follow up with insurance companies. Support business development and retention of existing clients. Ensure compliance with relevant insurance regulations and internal procedures.

Requirements:

Must be ACIIN qualified (Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria). Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in an insurance brokerage firm. Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage operations, policies, claims, underwriting, and client relationship management. Experience in preparing insurance quotations, negotiating with insurers, and managing client portfolios. Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Nigerian insurance industry. Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-management skills. Must be professional, proactive, commercially aware, and results-oriented.
