Title: Project Executive

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Company: Triumph Group of Companies

Role Overview

The Project Executive is the single accountable partner on Triumph's largest multi-division projects, the ones where two or more Triumph divisions share the same build and the client needs one coordinated point of contact instead of a set of separate scopes. You own the client relationship from award through substantial completion, chair weekly coordination meetings, and keep the cross-scope schedule and issue log current so nothing falls into the gaps between divisions. You work closely with the COO, the Business Unit Vice Presidents whose divisions are on the job, and senior clients such as developers, institutional owners, and general contractors, on projects that regularly run into the tens of millions of dollars and up.

Good work in this role looks like a client who never has to chase down which division owns what, a bid that captures every scope once and accurately, and a coordination fee that reflects the real value you're delivering. You're building this function largely from the ground up, so the first stretch is hands-on: personally running every assigned project while standing up the process and the team around you as volume grows.

What We Offer

Excellent Total Rewards: Commensurate with experience

A high-visibility, executive-adjacent role built to grow into a larger office as the function scales

Direct exposure to the COO, the CEO, and Business Unit Vice Presidents across Triumph's divisions

The chance to build a new function from the ground up, with a clear path to leading a larger team as pipeline grows

A culture that rewards practical execution over bureaucracy, and backs people who deliver

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Skills

10+ years of progressive project management or construction management experience in commercial construction, including multi-trade coordination on complex builds

A track record running large ($10M+) multi-disciplinary projects involving multiple sub-trades or divisions, as a senior PM at a general contractor or in an owner-side or CM-agency role

P&L ownership or equivalent commercial accountability, including setting pricing, delivering margin, and reporting operating results

Working knowledge of MS Project or MS Project Online and standard construction management software such as Procore

Building envelope exposure (glazing, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, curtainwall, facades, windows) is a strong asset, along with a PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent credential

Attributes

You're comfortable being the senior face in the room with sophisticated clients like developers, institutional owners, and general contractors, and you communicate clearly under pressure

You hold people accountable across teams and reporting lines you don't formally manage, without becoming a bottleneck

You think like an owner. You'd rather solve a coordination problem quietly than let it show up in front of a client

You're organized enough to run a consolidated schedule and issue log across multiple divisions without losing track of the details

You're motivated by building something new, and you don't need a fully built out team or process to get started

Duties & Responsibilities

Own the client relationship on assigned multi-division projects from award through substantial completion, serving as the single accountable point of contact

Coordinate the bid across participating Triumph divisions so every scope is quoted once, accurately, and on time

Price the internal coordination fee for each assigned project based on the coordination value delivered

Chair weekly internal coordination meetings and require written updates from each participating division's project manager ahead of time

Maintain the cross-scope coordination issue log and the consolidated schedule view in MS Project Online, while each division continues to own its own schedule

Collect and distribute key client communications, including change orders, schedule changes, major RFI responses, and formal correspondence

Coordinate cross-scope RFIs, submittals, and change order positioning so Triumph presents one unified response to the client

Escalate to the applicable Business Unit Vice President when a division isn't meeting response or delivery expectations

Report project-level gross margin and overall office performance to the COO on a regular cadence, including pipeline and coordination revenue

Build and lead a team of Multi-Scope Project Managers and a dedicated estimator as the function grows
