Healthcare Assistant

1. JOB PURPOSE

To assist and supervise elderly clients while they are engaging in the centre's programmes and activities. Responsible for basic cleaning,pottering and dispatching duties and assisting the nursing staff in some basic procedures related to client care.

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Primary Responsibilities and Duties (90%) 2.1.1 Assist and supervise elderly clients in the centre 2.1.2 Assist in positioning, transfers and ambulating of clients 2.1.3 Maintain cleanliness of the centre's environment including equipment, furniture and tools 2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and duties (10%) 2.2.1 Provide incidental housekeeping duties such as cleaning and mopping up spillage, discharge and breakages 2.2.2 Any other tasks assigned by the Centre Manager 2.2.3 Any other ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor.
