Position Title: General Insurance Underwriter Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 3,500 AED inclusive depending on experience and qualifications plus commission. Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client: A leading UAE-based insurance brokerage providing customized insurance and risk management solutions for individuals and businesses.

Job Description:

• Assess client submissions and risks across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME insurance lines.
• Prepare quotations, quote slips, proposals, renewal terms, comparisons, and recommendation sheets.
• Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, refunds, and premium adjustments.
• Support the sales team and maintain accurate underwriting records, documentation, and CRM/portal updates.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of General Insurance Underwriting experience with an insurance brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME insurance products and policy analysis.
• Hands-on experience with insurance portals, policy issuance, quote preparation, and insurer negotiations.
• Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with clients, insurers, and internal teams
