Senior Finance Executive - East Region

About the role The National Forwarder is looking for an experienced and dependable Senior Accounts Executive to handle a full set of accounts and support the financial operations of our freight forwarding and warehousing business. Key responsibilities Handle a full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules

Manage customer invoicing, supplier payments, collections and credit control

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments

Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations

Maintain accurate records of freight, transport, warehouse and vendor costs

Review supplier invoices and supporting documents before processing payment

Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns

Assist with budgeting, cash-flow planning and financial forecasting

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant government authorities

About you Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

At least five years of relevant accounting experience, handling a full set of accounts is a must

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transport or warehousing will be an advantage

Good knowledge of Singapore accounting practices, GST requirements and financial reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Careful, organised and able to meet reporting deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers and external service providers

Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential financial information

Able to work independently while contributing as part of a team
