Restaurant Manager ? Kensington

The Mash is an independent craft beer and pizza chain operating across Southern Alberta, and a sister company to Half Hitch Brewing Company. We're looking for a dynamic, outgoing Restaurant Manager to take the reins at our Kensington location - a tight-knit 20-seat spot (with patio seating that roughly doubles our capacity in the summer) where the right person can really put their stamp on things.

This is an intimate, high-touch location, which means the manager isn't running things from an office - you're on the floor, part of the team, and the face of the business. We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in what they do, wants ownership over the day-to-day, and is excited to dig in and find ways to make the location better - whether that's the guest experience, the numbers, or the culture of the team.

You'll enjoy connecting with guests, take pride in delivering excellent service, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. You're interested in craft beer and open to learning how we make our unique pizzas - because this is a working manager role. Depending on what the shift needs, you'll be serving, hosting, or on the pizza line right alongside your team.

Summary of Position

You'll own the day-to-day operations of the Kensington location, ensuring our company philosophy comes through in every shift and that our policies, procedures, and standards are upheld. You'll manage the store's P&L, build schedules that hit labour targets, and - because this location is small enough to really make your own - you'll have real input into improving how things run, from operations to guest experience.

Qualifications

? Minimum 1 year of verifiable food and beverage supervisory/management experience? Excellent written and verbal communication skills? Computer literacy in MS Office, plus POS experience? Solid working knowledge of food and beverage products? Comfortable managing and communicating across all levels of staff? Pride in personal presentation and professionalism? Able to perform manual duties involving lifting objects of reasonable weight

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
