Sous Chef

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook specializing in Western cuisine to join our dynamic team at THE KITCHEN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing Western dishes, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Western dishes to the highest standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with our restaurant's quality standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Provide training and support to junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a restaurant specializing in Western cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of Western culinary techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to speak english
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus.
