Head of Sales
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for Sharp Calculator revenue across all channels: schools and private education institutions, corporate and B2B, open market and bookshops, and government
Building, leading, and developing a field sales team with clear quotas, structured call plans, and weekly accountability systems
Designing and executing the channel strategy across Lagos, Abuja, South East, and other priority markets
Setting up the sales infrastructure: territory planning, target-setting frameworks, CRM discipline, reporting cadences, and pipeline management
Driving Sharp onto school supply lists and into corporate procurement processes
Owning monthly sales targets that are steep, tracked, and directly tied to your commission
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong background in stationery, education supplies, FMCG, or consumer goods — someone who knows this market, not someone who needs to learn it
Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets, with numbers you can speak to
Experience selling into schools, institutions, or structured B2B environments
Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail and distribution landscape across multiple states
Ability to build sales systems from scratch: territory maps, call plans, incentive structures, reporting tools
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Someone who leads from the front and is not afraid to be in the field alongside the team
Benefits:
Remuneration: NGN 550,000 monthly
